Our hope is that through mentoring, they can establish or strengthen a relationship with the Lord.  They will recognize who they are and what their value is in the eyes of Jesus.  We hope to be able to intervene in order to prevent unhealthy generational abuse.  We want to help these teens and young adults before they get caught up into drugs, alcohol, prison or even death due to these circumstances.  This happens through showing unconditional love and acceptance of who they are in order to build a relationship of trust and friendship.

There is hope for teens and young adults growing up in abusive homes. We tend to do what we are taught, or shown. The pain from lifestyles like this can cause our kids to turn to “putting a bandage on the pain”; substance abuse, self-inflicted pain or suicide. We do all we can in order to intervene and prevent them from going down the path of destruction.
